Updates/Announcements

From KWRI:

We’re happy to announce that two major issues have now been resolved:

#1 – “SmartPlan Terminated in Error” Messages in the Contacts Timeline

Our engineers confirmed that, as of yesterday, the only issue currently terminating SmartPlans is an invalid email address. If you have received a “Terminated in Error” message in the past 24 hours, please check the contact’s email address for accuracy. Issues include spelling errors, invalid emails from purchased leads, phone numbers instead of emails, etc. The contact card will need to be updated with a valid email for the SmartPlan to run properly.

For SmartPlans impacted by this error prior to yesterday, contacts must be re-added to the SmartPlan to restart the flow. But don’t worry, it will NOT add the contact twice.

Here’s how to re-add contacts:

1. Open the contact in Command and make sure it has a Primary Neighborhood associated with it. If so, skip to step 3.

2. If there isn’t one, remove the Primary Address and add it back to the contact. This automatically generates a Primary Neighborhood. The exact steps are: Open the contact card > Click the pencil icon to “Edit” the contact, click “Additional Contact Information” dropdown, then enter their Primary Address (Street Address) and save it. Note: In the rare instance that a Primary Neighborhood does not exist, the contact unfortunately cannot be added to a Neighborhood SmartPlan.

3. Add the contact back to the SmartPlan. On the contact card > Click SmartPlans tab > Add to SmartPlan > Subscribe contact to desired SmartPlan.

#2 – “Email Undeliverable” Error Message in Tasks

Our engineers discovered lists of email domains that were erroneously marked as blacklisted. As of May 22nd, those emails have successfully been repaired/removed from the blacklist, and should be flowing normally again.

If you see an “undeliverable” email after May 22nd, it’s common that some contacts may have opted to unsubscribe. Our engineers are working to provide more clarity on these cases going forward. The next update, targeted for the second week of June, will not create an error in your Tasks, but will update the contact’s timeline with details on which error was returned, helping you determine if you need to reach out to your contact for updated email information.

Should you have any questions please reach out to KW Support via Live Chat in Command, and we will be more than happy to assist you!

Thank you for your patience as we worked through these issues. We appreciate each and every one of you!
